Removing Cigarette Smoke From Hands & Hair

Introduction

Many restaurant workers smoke, but most don’t want to come back to a customer or a kitchen after a smoke break stinking. It’s simple to kill cigarette odors before stepping back into public.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need

• one or two lemon slices
• soap and water

Steps

 

Step One

After smoking, immediately wash hands vigourously with soap and water.

 

Step Two

Take lemon slices and squeeze between your hands rubbing juice all over front and backs of hands.

 

 

Step Three

Discard lemon slices and rinse hands with just water.

 

 

Step Four

Run wet hands through hair.

 

 

Step Five

Dry hands.

Rihanna’s New Cut

You KNOW I’m a fan. I love this cut on Rihanna. I was getting a bit bored of the bob and she’s taken it to the next level. I’ve had tons of conversations about was the bob hers and did she make sure a drastic cut to her hair, but there’s no question, this is definitely hers. The look is fresh, cut, and a definite YES for Spring. I’m not one for tamed hair, but I wish she would mold the back a bit more. I know she’s going for the tapered look and I LOVE that it doesn’t look like she’s fresh out of the salon, but to the untrained eye, she might end up a few bad hair blogs.

Sisterlocks

I’ll be the first to say that I had not heard of sisterlocks until reading a hair forum last night. Now, I’ll try to dispel the myth.

Sisterlocks are a type of dreadlock. Sisterlocks are thin, but they aren’t weaker than other types of cultivated dreadlocks. Any lock will be weak if it’s too thin closer to the base in comparison to the rest of the length. The starters are very thin, though, but they plump up some with age. You can style them, just like you can style loose hair or any other type of cultivated locs.
