9 05 2009

Hair Type 1: Naturally curly, very thick, permed for several years, decided to go natural!! Wants to flip between straight and curly.

Shampoo – Deva Curl No-Poo: non-drying, no lather, but very moisturizing, a whole new way to no-poo ur hair!

Deep condition once a week with miss jessies rapid recovery treatment (thanks to Alicia)

Somebody Pull Out The Hot Comb – Pull On My Weave ?!

4 05 2009

Who thought THIS was a good idea?! This video is going to single-handily wipe out the entire male race. ATTENTION ALL MEN READERS: Do NOT follow this advice. Women have lots of great things to pull on, but weave is NOT one of them.

And to the particular men in this video. What was going on in your head? What were the casting call details for this gig:
- Must love weave
- Must have the ability to remain extra greasy.

I especially love the moments at 1:30, 1:57, and 2:10, when the men go into a Yaki-induced trance and touch the hair ever so softly.. LMAO

If you take nothing else from this, please know that you should always look for the silver lining. Pulling on my weave might be a bad idea in most cases, but for our friend Tamika, it might help a bit if someone pull on her weave though… from the FRONT! She’s got a little Vivica Fox going on.

Tamika Scott Pull On My Weave

Speaking of look a likes – Tamika kinda looks like a cross between Big Mike and Kim.. HEY Professor Ogulvie…..LMAO!
